    2018 Teen Summer Reading Programs

    Calling all Teens!! Get ready for the Waldport Public Library’s Teen 2018 Summer Reading Program: Libraries Rock!! Our regular Summer Reading Programs are held every Wednesday beginning June 20th through August 15, at 10:00 a.m.  Register and set a reading goal to earn a Libraries Rock t-shirt, and drop by the library to enjoy the Summer Reading Program of events.

    Calling All Teens!! Attend, explore, and harness the rockin' power of library programs!!

    Tuesday, June 26, from 5-7:30 p.m., It's Harry Potter Teen Knight, at the Waldport Public Library. Thoughout the event there will be lots of Gryslyrav-hufflepuffin' magical fun with games, trivia, giveaways, magical snacks, and more!!  

    July 2, 3, 5 & 6, 9 a.m.- 2 p.m.: Seashore Family Literacy Center Young Writers' Summer Writing Adventure Camp. 

    July 23, 3-5 p.m.: Scavenger Hunt and Board Games, at Waldport Library.

    July 23- July 27, Noon- 2p.m., Waldport Library RC Car Camp, 20 spots available. Register at the library.  

    July 30-August 3, at 12 p.m.- 2 p.m.(ending time will vary). Waldport Library Summer Writing Adventure Camp.  Meeting at the Waldport Library, with five local "travel" adventures. No cost with supplies provided. Led by Laura McCrum, college-intern and teen volunteers. For 5th grade-high school students.  

    Thursday, August 16, 5:00 p.m.: Rock-n-Roll Pizza, at the Waldport Public Library.  Meet John l. Ford and "Almost Famous" Rolling Stones Magazine contest winner. 

    Monday, August 20, 5:00 p.m.: Colleges & Careers, all high schoolers and parents welcome (public, private, online, homeschool).
