Computer Access

The Waldport Public Library offers free access to computers and Wi-Fi in the library, for job searches, career education and training, word processing, and more. Printing is .10 cents per page.

Creating Resumes and Cover Letters

Learning Express Library assists in making work goals a reality- start a new career or advance in a computer field. Learning Express also has available resume and cover letter templates. You will need to register (create an account), verify your library, and then you can begin your search.  

Canva has a collection of professional resume and cover letter templates- free to customize with Canva’s design editor.

Library Databases

These Waldport Public Library’s Gale Databases can be used at home or in the library. You will need your library card number and password to use Gale databases.

Learning Express Library is an interactive database with job search and tools for workplace improvement. In addition, Learning Express Library has practice tests, GED and college preparation exams, and citizenship tests. You will need to register (create an account), verify your library, and then you can begin your search. 

Books, e-Books, and Audiobooks

The Waldport Public Library has access to books on resumes, cover letters, job hunting, and job interviews. Check out the Chinook Library Network library catalog for your job or career needs.
